Finally Amping Speakers!!!
I've been running my Pioneer 6x8 3 ways for a while and finally decided that I want to amp them. I bought the Pioneer GM-4300F which puts out 40x4 watts rms up from my 14x4 watt HU. I'm thinking of upgrading my front speakers even though I have never heard them amped.
I'm trying to decide whether I should go to components up front, upgrade to better coaxials, or just leave my current speakers in amped. Would it make that big of a difference going to better coaxials or should I go to components? I'm competing with a JL w6v2 running off 600 watts rms so it's pretty loud and I want to be able to hear the music better while still having a lot of bass. Would it be sufficient to just leave the Pioneer 3-ways amped?
