Amp Rack built. Check it out.
Just got done building this. I will be adding carpet/vinyl later, but just wanted to get the amps mounted so they are not loose.
Subwoofer amp on top, Doors amp on bottom.
Even made it Anti-Theft. I dont know how well it will hold, but atleast they (the thief) will have to work for it. The 2 holes use the same bolts and holes that the jump seats mounted to.
Anyways, about to go somewhere away from my house to mount the amps. Will try and get a couple of pics. May have to wait until tomorrow for more day light.
BTW, I know the MDF isnt pretty and there are a few rough edges, but the carpet/vinyl will hide these problems.

I think it would look really professional to drill holes in the bottom rack and let the wires feed through there and then rest underneath. I know you arent going for a show truck but it's not hard to do and would just make it look that much nicer. what gauge wires are you using?
edit: ^ thats for the bottom amp, I dont have any ideas for the top one.

Are you pushing your amps hard? If so, make tiny risers so the back end of the amps don't sit flush against the shelf. Airspace will help cooling, plus give you space to tuck back any wiring. Or drill holes and have the wires go into the shelf and run out the back where it'll be out of view. Good work!

you gonna cover or paint the rack?
Edit: in adition to raising the amps off the rack slightly, buy 1 or 2 cheap 12v fans, per rack, from a computer store and cut out a section of the rack and set them in. you can not overcool the amps....
when I get my stuff built I'm gonna go that route, they even make temp controllers so they only come on when you need them
