When you have it loud,.....
How do you enjoy your bass?
I like it when I have respnses from other people, but I dont really acknowledge that they have responded. I dont look at them or turn up or down the music. Whether its positive or negative response, I dont care.
When people respond negatively by rolling up windows or looking at me funny (cause I am white listening to rap), I get a big kick out of it. It makes me smile and almost laugh. "Rolling up your window isnt going to stop that bass!" is what I wish I could say to them. Maybe I need a sign.
As for positive effects, I have had people follow me and ask or honk at me and ask. Even had some people roll down windows and even dance.
Anyways, I love different responses; positive or negative.

Totally agree with you there. I find it halarious when rolling through a parking lot and all i get are stares and sometimes there's folks that try to come up to the truck to yell at me to turn it down. funny stuff. Rollin' through the big town and hot chicks dancing to the tunes is always good.

my system is a high magnitude system (IMO)...it still has yet to be cranked to full tilt. You can hear it across a parking lot...and when you are next to it (outside the car w/ windows down) it makes you want to cover your ears.
Needless to say, I get quite a reaction, but I try to limit it (i still don't have an alarm ) so I don't like people to know I have a system. I don't want people to know...i would hate to have to replace it

no alarm eh ...well a few of my friends learned that way too..myself the alarm was the first thing to go in.
Im with ya though, when my music booming im happy enjoying everything around me and just cause some 40yr old doesnt like my music and thinks i should listen to classical is just jealous lol.
I have yet also to crank my 12"s, im scared...really i am..i have the 2 1000watt amps 1 on each and when the decks at 19 outta 50 and i cant bare to sit in the truck..i tested it out at "lube-x" for my buddys workin, they asked me to come by.There boss i know pretty well too used to work for him like 5 yrs ago and hes like bring her in and let hear this. Well he made this lil comment " boys and there toys" i followed by you mean.." boys and there multi thousand dollar noise making toys" they all just laughed. so i opened the 2 doors and the back slider and put in the good ole bass test cd and up to 19 i went stepped outta the truck and alls i could hear was WHOLY F%%K.. i jsut laughed they stuck there head in the cab and said that is ridiculous..im scared to turn it up more i could hear the huge crack in my front window moving..made me promise id go to competitions lol theres not many of us ranger guys that do these "huge" systems apparently.
And i really like it, and im not meaning to be the biggest 21yr old a$$hole in the world, but when them young kids like myself buy what they think is a huge system put it in there lil civic and get up beside you and turn it up and they look at you and smile..and there buddy is the passengers side is bobbin his head to it i open my windows and you see them look and you go "CLICK CLICK CLICK" and next thing u know your gettin fingered and there mouths are like wide open, they dont expect that much noise to come out of a lil truck.. us ranger owners have it pretty good..we can fool alot of ppl of what these trucks can really do!
But JRpro i think we have the biggest boxes ive seen in a ranger yet..i havent found anything that is that big ( air volume wise)
But i LOVE MY BASS!! as u can tell lol.

I have a box with 2 MBQuart 12's in my entire ext cab. They're sealed so it's not rediculous huge, it's not as high as yours prob are, but it's still big and takes up the whole rear cab. Mine have the best SQ i've heard so far from subs, not that i've heard many sound quality systems. It makes my rear window move about a half inch at the bottom, and i have NO rattles or anything, i totally sound deadened my cab.

Be courteous. Other people don't want to listen to your music. Don't force them to.

i usually go with that rule when i got to work in town, but it the rural/open rode i could care less, let their walls shake
also try not to turn it up right before i park to go somewhere if im in town, $3k+ equipment wouldnt be good if stolen, although they better have atleast 2-3 people if they want the sub&box because its a sumabiotch to move anywhere... trust me on that
my truck and good gas mileage dosent go together
optima battery+3 amps+ ton of 1/0 wire+ 70lb sub and a 130+lb box adds up to way too much
