New Pioneer HU
Well as some of you know from a previously posted thread my factory CD player broke again, this was the seventh one I have had in my truck in less then a year. It was the 6-Disc changer with Premium sound, they were going to cover it under warrenty but I would have to pay my deductable again. I shouldnt keep paying for something they can't get right, imo. So I finally decided to go out and get a new CD player, it's a Pioneer DEH-P5800MP. It sounds really good, it was easy to figure out how to program & use it, and it came with a remote(thats for the people who are to lazy to stretch their arm out 18" and turn the ****) I love it heres a pic. Oh yah it was about $255 installed.

There was another guy at BesyBuy at the same time buying the same one. I sounds great, and there was easy to see during the day, the only thing is, the buttoms are kinda small but once you learn where thay all are there will be no problem. Mine was actually $198 w/o tax but then they added tax and a wireing harness and a dash kit which was another $45. I love it!

I was looking at the new pioneers before I got my new alpine and that big button on the left didn't suit me. I was in 3 different shops that it was broke off on and decided that I was gonna stick with the alpines that I am used to. I do agree that pioneer makes some nice sounding stuff they just seem a lil more ecpensive and the look didn't do it for me. I am glad you are happy with what you got.
