what is it you're looking for exactly?

with a simple baffle you'll be able to fit a 6.5.. is that all you're looking for

EDIT: here's a quick drawing i did a while ago.. i was going to create some custom enclosures that would sit inside the door for a 3 way component system... this is what the door panels were going to look like. i sold the truck instead though, lol.

me? yeah.. they'd be glassed, then wrapped in suede. that was the idea anyway.

with the new truck i just bought another set of components i've wanted for a while... they won't involve any custom pods or anything so there's nothing to show for them, lol.

I'm guessing a piece of masonite or other thin solid wood cut into the shape of the 5x7 speaker cutout with screw holes and then a hole cut for the 6.5. Not too tough to do.

(If only fabricating rear door sub boxes was as easy...)

yeah i just used hard fiberboard... traced a stock speaker, marked where the screw holes were, then got the dimensions for the new speaker and centered it on the template. i think most speakers even come with a paper template for you to use to make things even easier when making baffels... its not hard at all

this is what i did to make my JL 5.25"s fit up front, used like, 3/8" crap wood, but its working, i also wrapped it in some red fabric i had left over from my sub box, so it looks pretty decent. I just traded my buddy the JL's for the fosgate Power series 5.25's, can't wait to hear em.
