Aux Input With Factory Radio?

Icon5 Aux Input With Factory Radio?

i have the factory 6 disk mp3 radio in my ranger and i just bought an ipod and was curious is there any way other than the stupid fm modulators to make my ipod work with my radio
?

you have to make sure your radio has the changer input plug.....if it doesnt, then it wont work..

I bought the ford trip tunes and it works just fine. The ford part number is 6R3Z-19A464-AA. I am not quite sure if it will work with your radio or not, with mine being a 2006 it was compatable. I have had no problems with it.

can you post some pictures of it? how does it plug into the factory radio?

No, not according to the App. Notes at the bottom: "For radios with CD changer control only."

when i had my intrepid, some of the guys at dodgeintrepid.net wired up aux inputs on their stock headunits. i don't remember how, but i know they did it. you could always get an fm transmitter though
