Icon9 stereo/sub help!!!

Alright... so i got my system hooked up today (2 10 inch kicker L5s and a mb quart discus 1000.1) and apparently the alternator only pushes about 60 amps and if i turn the system way up fuses will blow and the car can even shut off. Any suggestions? Where could i get a cheap alternator??? thanksss!

Get a junkyard alternator off an Expo and have it rebuilt.

Don't forget to change the wiring on the alternator afterward - it'll still run through the same fuse. Run a wire directly from the alternator to the battery, fusing it appropriately, or you'll still blow fuses.

That alt puts out 90amps not 60. It'll be fine. If you're worried about it, get an Expo 130 amp alt.

Tyler have you had any problems blowing fuses or with your alt? Is it still the stock one? Cause uve got the system, hids, foglights and other stuff and if yours has been fine i dont see how mine could be that bad, like you said. Thanks for the help

Just a heads up, when the subs hit today at idle, the rpms dropped from like ~800-1000 to ~500-800

It sounds like you alt might be dying. Unless your system is huge.
