Mines not mounted to anything. A solid built box won't need to really be secured (unless your worried about it being stolen). If its pretty heavy it'll sit in place.

FWIW, You don't NEED Polyfill, you can fill it with some fiberglass insulation. Never stuff it full of the stuff, just put enough in to take up the space while still fluffy. I've seen tons of guys fill them so full that they can barely get the sub in.

Looks like its coming along well.

What do you need 6 tweeters for? 2 is all your going to need in a regular cab. Your just getting a bit overkill in the 3k to 12k Freqency range. More speakers isn't always better. Quailty is where it counts.

Hahaha wow that is insane! I dont think I would use 6 tweeters though, i'm with Alex as far as quality goes. Thanks for the compliment on the boxes, I am more and more happy with them the more I get done on them.

Thanks for the info! As far as the polyfill goes I did some research and found a guy who actually recommended insolation over polyfill so thats what I used and it just made sense to me not to stuff the box completely. Thanks for the suggestion though! Here are a couple of pictures of the boxes with the insolation.

I've got probably the same stuff in my box. It looks good from there. Wire it up and get it going.

I am just waiting for the amps and speakers to get here. I will post some pictures once they get here and hopefully a video too.

Update: Subs are in and sound really good, boxes are working nicely with the space I have in the back of my truck. Got the boxes painted and decided to throw a design on of them. I will add some picture and a video soon.
