320 lbs is more weight than I would want in a sub in any car. Itz only practical for compition and even then wiring it with enough power is a royal pain. They won't sell many.

I know....but that wasn't my point. I'm sure they aren't making it to be practical....probably just to show that they can. They are going to have one on display here at our American Electronics/Furniture store. Guy there said the box needs to be about 8 cubes and made of steel.

Wow thats truly incredible I remember when they came out with an 18" monster a few years ago it weighed like 90 pounds and handled about 1,000 Watts RMS this thing though is truly remarkable...320 pounds...PLUS box PLUS amps...you have to have LOTS of money to even OPERATE it let alone BUY IT!

The whole package will have to be well over 500 pounds...that definitely isn't going in very many cars...SUV's ONLY!

It even has an interchangeable cone, one built for SPL the other for SQ.

They're gonna sell for $2200 a pop and MTX is making a new amp just to power these bad boys...the amp is like 2200 watts so you have to buy two amps to power it. I'd imagine you need about 10 alternators and 5 batteries...lol...

lol.. for that amount of money, i'd rather build a much better substage and blow the idiot away that actually wasted his money on one of those.

ive seen that a while ago, hell if i had the money, id get them, just to be the only guy around. id get 2, make my bed sealed with humps over the subs, and port it into the cab. sure its a waste of money, but if you have it to waste, then more power to you!!

I thought I remembered seeing a bigger sub before but wasn't sure. I think they had it at the Spring Break Nats in Daytona
