ok so im thinking about getting an amp to power my kappas because the headunit just doesnt give enough power at high volumes. the speakers handle 100w rms according to specs so i have thinking about getting one of these two amps:
Infinity Reference 475a

or

Kicker ZX350.4

which one would be a better, more solid amp disregarding price because i can get either for the same amount?

 

i would stick with the infinity since the speakers are infinity. plus, if you ever upgrade your other set of speakers, you should be able to get away with still hooking them up to that amp as well. are they components or coaxials?

 

I would go for infinity, alpine, crunch or anyother quality amp. And btw sonicelectronix.com has a lot better selection of amps for cheaper.

 

I have the infinity one w/ Kappas and I must say they sound 100% better with the amp. I was a bit suprized how much of an improvement there was after I added the amp.
