U can get this for 120 shipped with wiring harness and the dash kit.

I don't want an aftermarket HU. They just don't seem to flow, the lights dont match with my cluster and I don't want/need a double din/touchscreen/navi system.

With that said, anyone out there that has put one of these in please give input as to which is better under dash or at rear of truck. Audio/stereo guys feel free to chime in too.

Another question. I looked in the speaker size sticky and it says 5x7 or 6x8 speakers fit. What it doesn't specify is is that front or rear? Crutchfield says 5 1/4" fit and both of the previously mentioned too.
Im assuming the fronts are 5 1/4".

All 4 of my speakers are 5x7

Ok so I can replace all mine with 6x8's?

I think the opening is 6x8.

factory speakers are all 6x8s

I'd put the converter as close to the radio as you can get it. The longer the signal flows through the speaker wire, the more deterioration in quality you'll see.
That being said, i don't think your going to go much over like 5ft max. so it wouldn't make much difference.

I read the instructions and it says either is acceptable.
