What brand of speakers are you using?

What brand of speakers are you using for mids, highs, tweeters, coaxials, subwoofers?
More than one choice can be done.
If you like / dislike your speakers please explain...

A set of Infinity Reference speakers/coaxials in my Taurus and they sound nicely. Also had Pioneer 2-way 6x8 all around in my old EDGE.

I'm real deep in to car audio and run with decent stuff, and somehow i've never heard of Morel. I just looked them up, really nice.

yeah they're not tooo big here in the US. they dont market here really at all.. its more "word of mouth" between their few dealers, and that's about it. before i came across them, i was going to settle for the mb quart Q's, but these were just so much more natural sounding, i had to go with them instead (at the time i had no idea who they were either).

Here is my rundown:

Splash has 4 Pioneer TS-6880R's.

Mustang has 2 Rockford 2-way tweeters in the dash, 2 Sony Xplod 6.5's in the doors, and 2 Pioneer TS-6880R's in the rear deck.

Skyline has some Carroterzia speakers in the rear, and I think stock in the doors.

I have Sony Xplod 2 way coaxials. They are fair at best. Bass is poor and highs are pretty good. I guess they are better than stock if your stock speakers are in rough shape (like mine were), but I should have just waited a bought Infinity Reference 2 way or Pioneer 4 way speakers. I will be replacing the Sony speakers one day.

I am fine with the stockers except for the lack of bass but if I could find a box and an amp and cap I would be perfectly happy.

I have Infinity Kappra's 6x8's in front and Infinity 6x9's in the rear. SQ is good,I also have a 10" Cerwin Vega sub in a Q Logic box.The box is just sitting behind the drivers seat. Amp is a 4 channel RF200A.

Just like Mike above, I used nothing but Infinity's in my truck. 8's in the front & 9's in the rear. Sounded "dope" as my kids like to call it. I must admit though. I would like to try out some BA's. They make a fine speaker also.

I have a set of decent quality Boston Acoustics 5x7's in my fronts. I nabbed them out of my old Ranger before I traded. I have to be right honest though.. I don't see a huge difference between them and stock. The highs/mids are a touch better.. but the low end seems identical to me. It was kind of a letdown after I installed them. They sounded fantastic in my '99 XL Sport.. especially compared to the stock setup (in that truck).

Where did you happen to get your set?
I was reading on mb's site that one of their reps actually got a set of Morel's and liked them better than the Q's. He had 5.25's and got 6.5's and liked the midbass alot better, but the size difference is very noticeable too, so he should have listened to a Q 6.5 set first.
There's a decent money jump to the Morels's too.

I live right around the corner from an audio shop here in PA, they're the only dealer in PA that carries morel, so i lucked out i guess. and lol, its funny you mention the mbq thing.. it was pretty much the same for me, only i listeed to both 6.5's on a wall. and yeah, they're kinda expensive, but i took it in steps, so it was really only a 200 dollar difference for me from my previous pair of speakers, so i didnt think about it at all, lol. i had a set of phoenix gold elites, when they were new, a while back.. i think they were in the 600 ballpark.. they were alright, but i didnt like the cross overs, so i stepped up to morels when i thought id be going with some Qs.. im glad i went with my morels!
