hey guys, i'm new to audio and i have a friend thats good with this stuff and has been helping me out, unfortunatly hes been a dick and desides he wont help me. So my problem, my sub only works if i fush on it in and hit the right spot. Is that a voice cil problem, or a wire connection on the sub it self, i checked the other connections and they are fine. Its only hooked up to my head unit now, i havn't gotten around t gettng an amp yeat, i put it on the back right speaker wires all by it self and have it no louder than like 28 since my front speekers can't handle too loud and any louder than 28 or 29 is just a second or two, other than the exception for a song that isn't loud at all from my ipod.

I have seen where they get over extended and break the wire where they wire up. usually at the sub. dont think you can fix it if thats what happened. might need new subs, with the correct volume box. (air space)
alright, looked at it again, and soldered all the conections, and changes ports, an now it works great, the other port has juice but doesn't want to play the sub, just hope it will play tweeters for when i get the amp in in a week or two
