2 mtx 10s or 1?

I have 2 mtx 10s available to me, but im not sure whether i should put both of them in my single cab ranger or just 1. I listen to alot of rock, but occasionally i like to jam to some rap. So which will sound better? Thanks

You'll have alot more "fun" fitting them both in there, but it can be done. I say run both, 'cause if you run one and it's not enough you won't be happy, but if you run two and it's too much, you can just turn down the gain on the amp, and the sound will be cleaner.

Ya i blast my music very loud, i was just thinking about airspace maybe 2 would be a overkill and not sound as crisp as just 1 of them.

Anyone have a picture and maybe the dimensions of a box with 2 10s behind their seat in a regular cab ranger?

Get both. Install one. Listen to it. Add the other. (Two separate boxes can come in handy if you only need a little more space for a short period). Listen again. See which one you like. Sometimes simplicity makes all the difference.

I'm doing one at a time for mine and then I'll decide. (If I ever get around to that second one....)
