Good Aftermarket radio

I figured y'all could help, this summer I might be working on the sound system a bit. Nothing fancy, probably just a new head unit and better speakers. I'm just looking for recommendations. I'd like a unit that has an Ipod port of some sort, and nothing super expensive. A unit that fits in the stock location would be nice too. Since I'm clueless, can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have this one
Pioneer FH-X700BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com
I love it. Can control a lot from it. Has bluetooth and its hands free for talking on your phone. Best part is that it is cheap

Haha I won't deny that. Unfortunately I don't think it's really what I'm looking for, far as what it is and price. Sorry buddy!

What do you guys think of this one? It seems like it'll do what I want it to.
Dual XDMA6510 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Keep in mind I'm not even sure if I'll do this. I have Rocker panels and headlights to replace first. Plus insurance, and then I'm ordering my Cragar Soft 8's.

Doesn't look all that bad. Dual makes some good things and some terrible things so its luck of the draw there. Blaupunkt and Pioneer are really the only ones i buy or JVC just because of their high pre amp voltage output

Check out Sonic Electronix for stereo deals.

Stick to manufacturer’s that are used more often like Pioneer or JVC or others that have a little better rep.
Pioneer has some nice stuff for around the $100 mark.

$300? I'm for sure replacing my avh 3300bt. I'll have to check out the specs to see how they compare.

Just so I'm sure, the taller (I think it's 4 inch?) radio is a double DIN right?

Haha thanks for the help guys. A bunch of my friends have big fancy systems in their vehicles, subs amps and the whole nine yards. I'm completely clueless when it comes to audio at all.
