tweeters

I had been rockin the pioneers but a bad soldering job by the manufacture cause one of them to burn up... so I recently went with what I really wanted: Infinity Kappa 10.7T component tweeters, they went in perfect, mounted the lil component box under the black armrest, no pics of install just the final product

new steering wheel cover BEST I've ever seen, has the grooves where you put your hands like an expensive import...

yes..... You CAN run them off the stock speaker buuuuuuuuuut they will sound like anus. You need a high pass filter to run those tweeters or you will just have a worse off sound.
When I bought my truck the guy before did the same thing. I didn't even listen to the tweeters I pulled them off the SECOND I got the title in my name.

installing these with those tweeter off the signals from each door speaker will do all that you need and it will also make the tweeter do that it's supposed to high sound range. What speakers do you have in the doors? I would suggest splitting the input signal and making your own cross over. Buying a pair of high and low pass filters. You can actually build a set of component speakers very easily but the problem comes that the ones you buy are much cheaper and less work in the end. But for someone who can't drop the $250-300 for a pair doing your own a little at a time is great.
