Do any of you all have 4 12"ers? I'm lookin at gettin 4 kicker comp vr's or solobaric L5's. If any of you all have a setup of 4 12's. Please give me pics

if you wanna go def with that set up. Put one 12 behind your seat in a sealed box with the right amp. More than enought juice. I have a type E with a 350 mono alpine amp and it hits hard as hell

I've got 3 12s and it completely consumes the entire rear of the supercab. 3 Is more than enough...I doubt you plan to spend the extra $1,000~ to properly upgrade the entire electrical system to properly power 4 12s anyway, so just save yourself the money and get 2 or 3 12s and power then appropriately.

I had my system maxed last night (2 10s) like full volume, full base, doors open, and the lights were fading when the subs hit. Pretty wierd lol. I dont wnana know what would havppen with 4 12s, but i know my firend had 2 15s in his subaru(the ollld type, everyone drives em here) and he killed his battery in one hit.

damn thats crazy, my friend here has a cadillac with 2 18's. its all about systems here which is probably why i wanted 4 12's. but the more i think of it the more i realize its stupid. and so many people that have had it for a few years regret doing it. id prefer spend that money on other upgrades, but i could understand gettin like 2 12's or less.

I personally wish I upgraded my stock system and maybe one sub. I think sometimes its how loud you can play it, not how loud you can boom it. If you like parties where someone plays music from ur car, the replaced stock system would be better, it wont be all subs. plus, the subs are always on in my truck, and even on -6 volume(the lowest for bass) i can still hear it(it just makes radio presenters voices funny). But then, sometimes it rocks hardcore.

I got 4 12's in the back of my truck. sorry i aint got no pics though. got 2 stacked on top of 2 more. there 4 memphis m class 12's runnin off a 1800 watt amp. that sits in the floor board in front of them. The boxes suck but i still managed to hit a 141 with them. I plann on gettin a ported U shaped box next with 4 different memphis or crossfire maybe. oh and dont have a converter or anything like that it runs straight off the battery. Hasnt messed up a thing as far as fuses or alternaters or anything. And it shackes the hole cab of the truck along with the front end of the bed. but i love mine.

Compared to what?

With that much low, coming from that many sources, battling each other, it can't sound good.

2 infinity kappa perfect 12s and a 1211a amp will sound better than any other 4 subwoofer combo. Sounds FREAKIN amazing!! My friend and I pulled an all nighter friday to get his ready for the show saturday. We started at 5pm friday and finished 8am saturday morning. We got alot of good comments at the show.

Don't get 4 of any subs, especially in a ranger. I have 2 12's with 800rms total and they are loud, I could use more but mine setup is for SQ, and it costs alot to get a loud SQ sub or 2. Mine shake my rear window over 1/2 inch, and I inverted one of them the other day, now it shakes the windshield at the right frequency, along with the dash and HU and everything else.
You could have one 12 and be louder and sound alot better than 4. I guess as you said, you're 'competing' with systems, and doing that, the more the better. If you're not worried about money or sound quality, go for it.

As already spoke about, the cost of a loud sub system ( 1000$ +++ ), not counting getting a High-output alternator and battery, you could have a nice lift and other stuff, it's not worth it, unless you have the money.
