What is the best stock MP3 Unit?

Guys,

I am looking for a stock MP3 CD player for my 2002 XLT. I did buy a 2006 CD6 CD player where the moron forgot to send it in "shipping mode". I thought the radio was sweet, but I wondered if I made the best choice. It looks like there are three different types of Ford radios out there.. Which are the best?

This one is made by Pioneer. This was the one I bought that was DOA. It doesn't look like it supports CD text or RDS. Am I missing something?

This is the older type MP3 player. Its a single disc. I don't know much about this but it is closer matching to what was there originally.

Mach CD Player for older models. Single disc. Does this have an higher output amp built in since its a Mach?

I think this model has RDS but I am not sure. Do you guys know? This is a 6 disc, MP3 unit with satillite radio "ready".

What do you guys think? I don't want an aftermarket unit since I want things to look stock.

My mom has the second one in here explorer. I would be careful when buying that one because I know that her screen goes out on it. It will come on sometimes but most of the time it just stays off. It has alot to do with the temperature outside to because the wires expand and constract. My dads F--150 is the same way.

The second one does, it says MP3 on the display. From what I hear, there might be display issues with this model. I might stay away from it based on that.

i had the fourth one. when i got the truck it was ****ed up in the head. the cd changer wouldnt work. the balance would shift itself slowly over to the right side. you could see it changing on the display and try to fight it back to center with the buttons. then the faceplate connections broke when i took it out to get a 12v source.

i like the first and the fourth. i think the first looks slightly better though

I had the Mach radio in my truck. If there was a CD in it and I turned the truck off it'd make a God awful clicking noise. A good smack to the front of the radio would stop it usually. Eventually I would have to take the fuse out to make it stop. Now I have a Pioneer H/U with a Aux. port so I can use my MP3 player.

I decided to try the 1st one again. I love the idea of 6 disc CD, hopefully this guy knows how to ship them.

Me and Goody have the same MP3 CD/Tape stock unit. It's a huge upgrade from the 3rd one you posted, it sounds way clearer, because I used to have one.

its this one

The top one probably displays text, you just have to tell it to, because it took me a while to figure it out.
