That's the only time I've used it. I use Meguire's Gold Class on my truck. But I haven't experimented with too much wax. I just use it to erase some of Nature's Pinstriping down the sides.
NEVER think spray wax is acully a complete wax idk why people do its ment for after waxing like a mantianer of the wax to just help it inbetween waxes it is not waxing your vehical.... use liquid or paste i recommed liquid it leaves less dust for waxing try the NXT on your truck the liquid you will be highly suprised on a black truck

eh, i really screwed upo my truck.... i used this rubbing compound by 3m we used it on the fiberglass body of dads truck and it made it look like new, anyways, i attempted the same thing on my hood, and WOW what a disaster that was....

i got the clay bar, and that actually worked to my amazement, 2 passes on the hood and then the cleaner wax, and it looked pretty damn nice.... then, i had to make a decison, the industrial wax thats $25 a bottle or the NXT stuff... decisons decisions... so I chose both. did one half the hood with the industrial wax, and the other with the NXT. and while both showed excellect results, i liked the industrial wax shine a little bit better... gave the paint more depth....

I have one problem with NXT tho, to me, it doesnt seem to last very long, and wears off rather quickly - like 3 months. where as the industrial was lasts about 5 months before its needing a wax job.... but i geuss u get what u pay for...

nxt: 15
industrial: 25

its a preferrence really. i keey the nxt around to do my wheels tho....

I can't even reach my hood to wax it or clean it...lol. I have to climb up on the waag or tires to get the hood cleaned...lol.

I'm gonna try it next time I get enough time to. I do have the rest of the body waxed, though.

I've also been using this Teflon car wash stuff, it works really good!!! water eads off it like it has been waxed.... for proof, I waxed one side of my truck, then waited a couple weeks to get ti all drity then washed both sides of it with the teflon stuff and the unwaxed side beaded almost as well as the waxed side.

"and the unwaxed side beaded almost as well as the waxed side."
isn't that a bit contradictory?

Not really... what i meant was how the water runs off the side of the truck on the unwaxed as compared to the waxed side... maybe you didn't quite get what i was saying... idk.

Anyways... I was talking about wax....and car wash... and comparing them... yeah whatever.

3M Perfect-It Swirl Mark Remover for Dark Colored Cars worked real well on my Black F-150 Show TRruck I had for 6 years, then I topped it with 3M Glaze & finished with 3M Perfect-It Show Car Liquid Wax.
I have used easier stuff to remove but didn't do the job that 3M did.

I used to detail cars for a local Honda dealer. I went out and bought the same buffer we used to use down there. It really brings out a shine on the ol 97 Rang.

I'm going to pick up some of this famed NXT today after work and see how it works on the 01. I've read alot about it and from what I can tell, meguairs is obvioulsy the way to go. I'm a big fan of Eagle One WET as well, but the overwhelming love for the NXT on Ranger-Forums has me curious.

I can't recall Redneckstone giving any false advice.
