How do you care for your rims?
I was asked recently what I do to take care of my rims and I'd like to know what everybody does for theirs.
Mine are the American Eagle Alloy 057 rims. They have a mirror finish, and are not clear coated, so they have the ability to turn gray after a while. I tried using a metal polish, but the rim didn't seem to like it much. So my method consists of using various waxes to do the job.
My method
-Mother's Carnuba Cleaner Wax - gets off dirt, oxidation and stains
-Mother's Sealer and Glaze - provides a good layer of protection and shine
-Mequire's NXT - added protection and hope of extra shine
I take off my wheels about every 2 months, depending on how much I put them through and do this on the inside and outside of each rim.

i usually put Turtlewax chrome polish on mine once a month. All of my rim gets cleaned even the back side because you can see right through them; They're 6 Spoke deep dish Enkei Sport Truck rims. and other than that my truck is pretty much clean...mud and dirt aren't on it long enough to make a difference

windex works good for cleaning cars, i used to use it on my whole vehicle, but it strips all of your wax and everything off that you might have had on there (you can feel the difference after you use it) but for my rims i just use automobile wax, especially on the front because it makes it easier to clean the brake dust off em.
