Doing what I do best!!! Clean truck!
Spent about 6 hours cleaning the ol girl today. Lexol'd the seats really well, vacuumed, wiped all interior panels down cleaned engine, cleaned the wheel wells and tire shined. Not too bad for a 8 year old truck (technically 9). My brother offered me 17 on the truck today, seriously considering it. Would love a newer one.

If I was you id take it and be running.
Lets be honest you probably will not get a better offer on it just the nature of how old its starting to get in years.
Im getting rid of mine that I just got myself and moving on up, especially if I start at the police department here soon instead of at the beginning of the year.

nope, I decided to keep it. I love the truck too much. Plus I wont find another lariat with low mileage at the price I got it for. And I dont want a 400+ payment on a newer one, so I'm good to go.

lmao
Just not happy with the situation, my insurance is through the roof, double what my ranger was because freaking insurance rates went through the roof with the new update this year. Im 22, have a 750 credit score, discount rates for good grades, never had a wreck or ticket in my whole life, and im still paying 240 a month on the dodge because the people in my house that I live with have bad records. Biggest crock of **** ive ever heard.
Its a nice truck just wanting to get out of, 1. my huge insurance payment, and 2. get out having a huge payment over my head.
I still owe 12 on the truck and its just stressing my out until I start a decent full time career job, but I finish school here in 13 so shouldn't be to long. I thought I wanted a crew cab and something really nice to not get rid of anytime soon, but at this point id rather just not owe anything. Thinking about picking up this 90 F250 4x4 diesel thats one owner and 180,000 miles. Obviously apples to oranges but gets me into a diesel, something thats reliable, and most important cheaper insurance and paid off.
I lost like 2 grand on the deal trading in my truck but im just trying to think of whats better for me rather than getting bent out of shape over the money that I cant change now. Just wish I wouldve waited a little bit longer to decide what I was going to do, but I ran out of time for the semester starting so it kind of forced my hand.
