Fender Flares

I've got an Fx4 with the black plastic fender flares.

Anyone have a good way of cleaning/polishing matte fender flares so they don't look so flat/faded?

I've used Armor All with some success, but I'm wondering if there's something else out there.

I used some Meguairs stuff on mine... before I put the painted ones on. I can't think of the name at the moment but it really made them shine!

I just checked the bottle... it was Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer. I'll look for a pic from when I used it.

thats what I used on my lower valance, rear bumper trim.....next, my flares. That stuff is awesome, dries really fast too. I honestely think that all the product that I used on my trim over time has fubar'd them.

It will.....well, it makes perfect sense to paint all the trim IMO....that is if your gonna start somewhere on the trim. Next for me is my side mirror trim and door handles.....just cause it doesn't match with all the rest of the freshly painted trim! :) Its up to you though.

I painted my flares and front valence a few weeks back...looks a lot better! I had also previously painted the grille since it was faded and grey also. I should do the back bumper pad also but its been too hot out to mess with it lately.

Yep it comes in a spray can. Many places carry it... just go to your local Walmart or similar store!
