my car stinks

my 04 ranger had s this like cherry smell in it from when bought it and it wont go away. any one know what i can do to make it go away?

cherry is better than crap.. lol It'll eventually dissipate if it's a parts store special air freshener making the smell

i've never heard of anyone complaining about a nice cherry smell. i'd rather have that than it smelling like sh*t.

oh I remember I bought some gel cherry air freshener, and I left the truck parked out in the sun in the middle of summer... man it smelled nasty when I got back...

sadly i have tryed all of it and left it open for 4 days n had it since feb and it wont leave it alot less strong but if the windows are up it gives you a great headache lol

Most likely.... armoral the dash and wet vac clean the seats and carpet....

Before you do you might want to try something like this. Turn the vent on so you're bringing in outside air. Turn the fan on full.
Go outside and spray some kind of antibacterial spray. Like Lysol Disinfectant spray into the vent intake at the base of the windshield.
With a "cherry" smell it's probably something in the fabric in the cab. Rug, upholstery, headliner. But you never know.
