How to de-badge your ranger?

I tried to de-badge my ranger a few days ago to find out that they are not just stick on emblems they actually have holes in the frame to hold them in place now i am debating on whether or not to clean the rest of the foam-like adhesive stuff of and then put them back on with more or just bondo over the holes and color match it. Does anyone have any ideas or been in this situation before?

I debadged my old truck and filled in the holes. If your not doing any other body work or paint its alot of work to just get ride of the badges.

If it was mine, I would prefer to weld up the holes, but that is just me.

If you're doing it... don't **** around and bondo them holes... weld em up, you'll be very glad you did later.. ( bondo will absorb small amounts of water behind your fenders and in your tailgate, and will expand, and crack the paint/clear on top of it.. ask me how i know! )
