That sucks, but a good shop can fix that for $40. My first windshield had one, but it was almost invisible after the fix. Looked great till a big rock cracked it all to bits.

Well.... there's goes number 4.

Last night, coming off the highway, going about 40 mph, never saw what hit me.
Must have come off a big crane truck 4 cars ahead, and got tossed by the Expedition in front of me (friggin SUV's never have mud flaps, there should be a law).
I guess it was heavy, since I was going slow and it sounded like a big SMACK.
Found a three inch crack starting at the driver's wiper and heading up. Of course I had to touch it to see if I could feel the crack. That little touch made it a 4 incher.
After a night in the garage, it's now a six inch crack. At least it's now going to the right.

I'll probably leave this one till the end of "Rock Truck Season". When the rains come, the construction compaines stop slinging rocks all over our highways. Then I'll call my insurance, and have it fixed. Poor think only lasted a few months. Oh well, maybe 5 is a lucky number.

The first three were free. Number 4 cost me $200. The next one will probably make my rates go up, since I got a letter about some "adjustment" thing my company is doing. I'll have to check if it's worth it.
