Welp, I took my seat covers off cause i no longer work in a dirty job, and my seats were like, a total disaster. so, not having access to a steam cleaner, i used hot hot water with dish soap, and a very stiff bristeld brush, and a 5hp shop vac. seats came out like new. I used used a wash cloth on the dash, and other plastic areas, cab looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

 

how hard was it to take off the seats???

Got some pictures, I want to clean mine, but wasnt sure what to use, im going to trade it in for something new, cant wait to post the pictures of it =D

ya ya ill get pics. i had some dried oil based paint on the driverseat..... its been on there for about a year, i used a small wire brush and gently scrubbed it, had it not been for my laziness, i prolly woulda been able to get it all off... got most of it tho.

ill get pics for u all to gawk at tonight.

well i forgot to get a pick of the brush, but i used the same kinda brush to scrub my tires that i used on my seats...


this area was lookin pretty scummy


now the seats.... the driverside now has a hint of a water stain - again cause i got caught in the rain today.







i dipped the brush into the bucket, and then scrubbed the seats, using the soap/water on the brush, took multiple dippings into the bucket, but this method allowed me to control how much water was getting into the seats. i worked up a nice lather, and then woroked on the other seat and let the soap do a lil magic, then i went back to seat 1 and vaccuumed it off, and then to the passenger seat and vac'd that off too..... and this is the result. took about 36 hrs to fully dry.

 

For tough stains try 1Lifter carpet stain remover. I have used it to take 4 year old grease stains out of the seat of my mustang. Very strong stuff and you can pick it up at O'Reilleys for 3 or 4 bucks. Spray it on the stain, let it set for a minute or so and then scrub with a clean cloth. Works like a champ.
