Belay any information about cleaning the engine you have heard, 99offroadrngr - just put a bag over your intake if its a cold air open filter so it wont suck in water - and spray to your hearts content, let it drip dry about 10 minutes, and your set to go. Don't worry about your alternator or any other stuff in there - water wont do anything to it; you have MUCH more risk getting water in just by driving and splashing through a big puddle then cleaning your engine with it not running.. :-)

Yup :-) If you pressure wash - try not to keep the wand pointed at anything that might cause a dislodge.. such as getting the tip near the spark plug boots and such - spraying from a foot and a half away is okay though =)

If you have an open end style intake, then yes - or else youll have to pull off the intake and dry it out before you start the truck up. I'm talking about things like the K&N FIPK II setup... if you have a stock airbox, you shouldnt have to worry at all.
