Misfire..... HELP!
Hello everyone, I have a 2004 Ranger with the 2.3L 4 cylinder. 3 months ago I replaced the ignition coil pack and put 2000 miles on the truck with no problems, but now I am getting the following codes:
P0300- Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0302- Cylinder 2 Two Misfire Detected
P0303- Cylinder 3 Two Misfire Detected
P0316- Serious misfire in first 1,000 engine revolutions
The truck starts, but the idle falls low, about 750 RPM's and idles rough, and it starts to surge. After the truck warms up to operating temperature, it starts to run fine, I'm stumped. The connections look good, tight, and clean, the plug cables look good, and are new the same time as the coil pack was put on, as well as new plugs. Any additional ideas? I appreciate any help, thank you!

Re-check the gap on the plugs , and try finding some gas without ethanol in it.
