2003 2.3 crankshaft main bearing torque spec?

My name is Steve and this is my first visit to this site. Does anyone have the torque spec for the crankshaft bridge/cradle/girdle on this engine? I have searched and come up with nothing.

Hi Steve, welcome to the site

The Rangers used the 2.3l DOHC Mazda L engine from mid-2001 and up
Ford called it a 2.3l Duratec

Google: 2.3 dohc mazda L duratec engine torque specs

I tried that and all configurations of the terminology until my eyeballs are spinning. Still come up with nothing. I may make a visit to my Ford dealer on Monday and see if they will assist me.

Newer engines are using mostly stretch bolts, TTY
So there is no "final torque spec"
I would never reuse head bolts
And rod or crank bolts only reuse once

Connecting rod caps would be 21ft/lb then rotate 90degs
Main caps would be 32ft/lb and then rotate 180deg
Main caps to have a tightening sequence like head bolts, rods do not

Thanks. That is exactly my plan. I did buy new head bolts and that matches the rod bolt specs that I found. Since this the first rebuild(and the only time I will rebuild this engine), I will use those numbers on my mains. I will probably ease my way up to the 32 ft/lb in several increments, however.
