2008 2.3

Hi, I have a 2008 2.3 that starts and runs for a few minutes and then dies, but it will start right back everytime. I have changed the fuel pump, filter and crank position sensor . And it doesn't have any codes.Anybody have any suggestion. Thanks, Brad

have you tried using a spark plug tester

ignition coil packs have been known to fail once heat is applied to the outer casing

i would replace the ignition coil 1st before anything else

unplug the coil connector

have crank the engine while you use a LED 12 volt test light to see if the coil is still receiving power

I unplugged the TPS and drove it around the block, and of course the transmissiom wouldn't shift and then I plugged it in and had to take of battery cable to reset it and get the tranny working and the thing is running fine.really don't know what it was but it's working for now.

when the battery is still connected , the ECM is still receiving a signal from the TPS

any time you replace any sensor , always dis-connect the battery 1st
