i am having a problem with finding the right upstream oxygen sensor on my 2008 2.3. the ford dy835 wires are not long enough to plug in. would like to stay with a ford part. ordered bosch 15664 and the wires were to short also. all the parts stores and ford website say these are right. anybody have this problem or and solutions. i will check with the ford dealer monday but i am tired of swapping out parts to see what fits. thanks tim

i got that sensor and returned it, the 22524, the tip that goes in the exhaust was different. its not oem, it is oe equivalent. there has to be a ford part that has wires long enough to fit. thanks

 

the sniffer tip does not have to be the same as OEM

they perform the exact same function

the NTK oxygen sensors are superior to the bosch sensors
