clutch master cylinder problems

I have a 2005 2wd and i have put 4 clutch master cylinders in about 25,000 miles and now it seem like it is going out again. When i put them in they work great for about 6 months, then it will get vary spongy i try to bleed it but it does not get any better. It get to the point where i can no longer get it in gear. Now i am trying to find out if there is something that is causing it to do this.

when i put a new master in it will go in gear fine then after about 6 months it does it again. right now the clutch pedal feels like only about the last 1/4 of the stroke even does anything it just falls to that point, but every time i put a new one in it has a full stroke and works great. could the slave cause the master to go bad?
