Tensioner assembly
This is not how I wanted my first post to be. Was planning on doing some upgrades to my b2300.
Anyway my belt tensioner pulley assembly blew up while I was running an errand for work(spring popped out of metal casing). Now I have to replace it after I finish. I dont have a manual and was hoping one of you could tell me what size/style bolt I need to remove. I assume its a standard hex bolt in there. Is it reverse threaded?

I left my truck at work and picked up the new belt tensioner. I was on my phone earlier, so it was hard for me to get much info. At home now looking up things on my computer.
I see people mentioning a Torx screw to release it. Is that on the 2.3l as well? Felt like a hex bolt in there and that's what came with the new tensioner.

Well, for any person that happens to be in a jam. I had put a 13mm in there initially when it happened, but it snapped the first socket I put on there and stripped the second one(lesson: $10 socket sets at autozone are really junk). So I wasn't I read some non descript comments all over the web about taking it off. Some mentioned a 15mm and some mentioned a star/torx screw. I am guessing that people were talking about different engine sizes, but didn't say so.
The bolt to take off on the tensioner assembly is a 13mm. It can be pretty hard to get out of there, so be ready to apply some force. Also it is a normal screw, not left-handed or reverse threaded.
