08 2.3L Changing plugs problem...

So I was doing some normal maintenance and changing my spark plugs I removed the #1, 2, and 4 plug (closest to the firewall) and replaced with no problem. Now onto the #3 one with ease I thought I got it removed, put the new one in, and went to put on the boot. Well the boot for some ungodly reason wont go all the way down I tried everything I possibly could have with this thing and it just wont go all the way down to be flush with the block. I know asking this is dumb but how much of a problem is this. Its on the plug snug and its firing just fine.

Its its firing fine than the boot is making a good connection with the spark plug which means the boot is all the way on
