03 FX4 with R7 axle = 31 spline?

03 FX4 with R7 axle = 31 spline?
looking to upgrade to rear disks and want to know if the R7 axle in my 03 FX4 is 31 spline or not? Is there a way to find out? I am looking at the Ford Racing kit. Thx

If it's an '03 FX4 Off-Road it's a 28 spline. If it's an '03 FX4 Level II then it's a 31 spline.

Yup^^^ Both both carry the same R7 axle code.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll stay with drums for now. There is no chance they used 31 splined axles in the early 03s? My axle date is 4L10 but I dont know what year that is.....Dec. 10 200?.

If you have a 2003 FX4 Off Road, it is definitely 28-spline. "4L10" is a 4.10 ratio limited slip diff.
