Its not too hard, all you do is remove the filler plug, take the cover off and drain all the old fluid, clean up the cover and the differential to make sure it seals well and then install the cover and new gasket.
All you need to buy is a new gasket, two or three bottles of gear lube/oil and the tools if you dont already have them..
I wouldn't take it to anyone to get it done, but I do everything myself.

It wouldn't match the black differential housing.

I made a how-to about changing the differential cover. Pretty much the same thing.

the fill hole uses a 3/8 ratchet with no socket (square hole) to remove. To fill, spend the $5 for a pump that fits on the bottles. It pumps it through a tube that goes into the hole.

think it would be ok to pump it out from the fill hole? then fill it back up?
i no you wont get nearly as much out as u would with droping the plate, but i really dont want to do all that work to flush the front, and mine is really bad.
