Hey everyone just recently joined the forums and I am in need of some help...I had been having problems shifting for some time so I finally decided to have it looked at and the mechanic at the shop said that my clutch was bad and need replacing and wants to chrage me 600 and something dollars to replace it for me! I was wondering if anyone has changed one and could give me some details because saving money would be amazing since I cant get much of it anyways....any feed back would be greatly welcomed!!!

 

I dont know if factory service manuals are readily available, but the Haynes manual gives pretty good instruction on how to do it. Plus they are great for just abou anything that might come up on your truck, its the first stop I make after buying a vehicle.
