rear transfer case output seal.

i recently changed it. one of the easiest jobs i've done so far. only took an hour. just a question, should i squirt some PB blast or atf in where the shaft goes into the seal? when i turn the shaft by hand i can hear it squeaking on the seal, and i can only imagine this will cause wear.

Usually you lube the seal prior to installing it.
