Pop in rear end.

I notice after hard wheeling and even on the street after some hard driving I'll stop and back up then going foward I'll get one loud pop/click from the rear of the truck.

After a few days of driving it it's gone, then I wheel hard or race a honduh and it'll come back, and then repeat.

The differential and ring gear are perfect, the bearings are new, and the fluid is brand new lucas.

It's odd, I can't figure it out, I've had a few people tell me its probably a leaf spring, I have noticed my pads coming out between the leaves.

After seeing what kind of shape my diff, ring gear and pinion is in I have trouble blieving it could be from back there.

this happens to me too, when i reverse faster than normal, or go a little farther in reverse then one normal does and i brake or whatever, i hear a metal pop sound from the back too. almost every car i have ever driven, manual or auto, front or rear drive, makes this sound unless its a brand new car pretty much. i think its just cause its not meant to go in reverse so things working backwards might produce a stress sound? honestly i have no idea tho and it bugs me alot that i dont know what is causing it.

It drives me mad.

I'm always thinking I'm gonna break it.

Thanks for the input though, I never noticed it in my Horizon and I dogged the **** out of that thing in reverse. :-P
