Just installed one on mine 2 weeks ago. So far, no problems, except that I didn't do it sooner!! I've seen them recommended as the LS upgrade to the Torsen in the FX4's, so I don't think they can be all bad.. just my .02

i have a ebay 28 spline that I rebuilt with ford clutches. been in about 15,000miles, towed 3,500lbs from FL to NV. Seems to be holding up wheel, overall im happy with the street/off road manners. When the truck gets a little more serious, i'll upgrade to a locker

Only problem is, the clutch packs wear out and after 50k or so you have an open diff.
The Torsen doesnt have any clutch packs to wear out.
The T2 on the site is the same in the Lvl 2's.

I like my Torsen
(i'm putting on my flame suit now)

^HAHA...i see chuck posting his detroyed Torsen pics soon....

the good thing is...that the clutch type limited slips are completely rebuildable and is fairly cheap to rebuild. BUT...IMO...a Detroit True Trac is a MUCH better performer if you want a little bit of locker performance, but want limited slip feel. I've seen True Tracs STILL providing power to the wheel that's still on the ground while the other being in the air....the darn things act like a locker almost. That's what my vote goes to if you dont want a lunchbox locker or full carrier locker like a Detroit.

I am still contemplating the same thing... Keep reading all the post about the True Trac and how it acts like a limited slip and a locker. Just can't make my mind up if the locker is worth it though....
