88 ranger rearend

hey guys wanting to know on some stuff yall did to yalls 7.5 rearend. anything from lockers to gear ratios to even putting limited slip diff in the. want some ideas on what to do mine

You just named all the ideas.

Search for axles and you will get a lot of info. Hundreds of threads. You could always swap in an 8.8 as well.

I agree about doing the 8.8 swap. Think about it for a second. The 8.8 is STILL in production, the aftermarket knows this, the Mustang/ Jeep crowd use it for everything so the parts availability is crazy compared to the 7.5. ( yeah, it is still being built, BUT, it has NOWHERE the support of the 8.8) Lok at it from another way, also: Break a 'shaft in the 8.8, simply go to a wreckingyard and call it a day. Pop a 7.5", well, they are out there, but, they can be harder to find, since their usage is alot lower.
