Weird brake problem...

Ok, so I'm driving along and my (BRAKE) light comes on. I had no idea why, just figured it a fluke. Drive another 10 miles to my house and stop. Find out it could be due to low brake fluid level, no problem I'll run up to the store. Get in the truck I have basically no pressure on my brake pedal... Wtf? Go in my moms truck get some brake fluid and top off the resevoir. Get back in still no pressure??

I have no idea about this stuff or any trips or tricks that I should know of. Please help me figure out whats wrong. I dont know what to do. I dont wanna drive it and have a wreck because I have no brake pedal presure, thanks!

You either have a leak, a bad master cylinder, or the brake pedal is no longer connected to the master cylinder. Get under the vehicle and look for evidence of a leak, particularly at the rear drums.

Failed calipers, cylinders in the rear, etc. will be leaking if you can't get any pressure and you should see/smell brake fluid somewhere.

Thanks for the help. After sitting over night the pedal got pressure back in it. Really strange, guess the fluid had got to low, had to seep back in through everything. Thanks again...

Bleed the brakes just to be sure there is no air in the lines.
