hey guys, i just read through the whole forum... uhh I have a 2005 XLT 4WD ... looking to get the 5" coilover kit by RCD ... says it will fit as long as I have electronic or manual hubs, NOT vaccum pulse hubs ... I know I don't have manual, but how do I find out if I have electronic of VPhubs? thanks..

You have the so-called "live axles" on your 2005 truck, not the Pulse Vacuum Hublock system. There is no such thing as electronic hubs on a Ranger even though you will sometimes see references to them.

The RCD kit is usually listed for 98~2002 4x4 Rangers only. That is because the 4x4 brake rotor size was increased from 11.28" to 12" in mid 2003. The 12" rotors are not compatible with the RCD kit knuckles. Many owners have installed the RCD kit on newer trucks by retrofitting the smaller 11.28" rotors.
