Strange brake problem

Sometimes when I come to a stop, the brake pedal goes lower, the brakes buzz, and the truck does not stop well - any ideas?
Thanks - this forum is always a good source of Ranger/Ford info.

what do you mean the brakes "buzz"? and also, do you mean the pedal goes lower than normal (needs more travel), or that as you are stopping it still sinks down (ie mushy)?

Maybe it is the tone ring for the ABS. I kinda had a problem like that on my truck. Maybe try and disable the abs (for my truck it was fuse 14) and see if the problem goes away
