The Dealer Trip...
So if you have followed a few of my threads, I've been having some problems with my truck. The infamous slip yoke bind I think.

Well I took it to the dealer for a day. They drove it around, found out what they thought was wrong, and ordered parts. Since my truck was still driveable I went and got it back until the parts showed up. At this point I still didn't know exactly what was up. I went to the dealer tuesday after class and they said that the parts showed up. I asked what parts they ordered. I got a whole new driveshaft, slip yoke, and u joints. No more bind, no more sound, and no more jerk. Total I spent $106.50 because it was still under warranty. I dropped the truck off at 8:30 and had the truck back by 11:30 even though they were busy.

Didnt cost me a thing for some electronic parts and a new window motor...
Sounds like you just needed the u joints, i know the splines going into the transmision get worn out, but i dont know how it could really go bad...
I need to put in ujoints ASAP....
