Icon5 Can't shift into 1st or 2nd gear

I Recently replaced the clutch system, including slave cylinder, and flywheel on my 1993 Ford Ranger, 4.0L, 5 spd manual transmission. What I’ve done so far:
- Removed (shifter, driveshaft, starter, exhaust pipes, transmission, flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder)
- Replaced flywheel, slave cylinder and clutch assembly with new Parts
- Reinstalled flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder, transmission, exhaust, starter, driveshaft, and shifter.
- Bled clutch system
Clutch will now not shift into 1st and 2nd gear, but it will shift into neutral,3rd,4th,5th,reverse with ease.
I thought it was a shift rail so I checked it out and found out it was in neutral with no problems.
Now im thinking it’s the shifter forks, but I want to know if there could be another way before opening the transmission. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

It is the shift fork, it has either sheared off the roll pin holding it to it's shift rail or the pin has fallen out.
You may be able to fix it by taking out the carpet, removing full access panel and removing the top plate of the trans.
But dropping the trans would be better.

When clutch is going out people put alot of force on the 1st/2nd shift fork when forcing it into gear when stopped, this can weaken the roll pin.
I assume this happened since you just replaced the clutch

fixed the problem and shifts to all gears smoothly now
Soultion: i took the top cover to the transmission off and took the plug off the tranny cover, i started by matching my rolling pins to the tube running through the shift rails, to do this i looked at the distance between each shift rail and matched that distance to the length of each rolling pin, i then put the rolling pins in correct order into the plug hole in the transmission cover and tightened the plug up and put the transmission cover back on, i then made sure the rails were in neutral by using a long screw driver
picture of shift rails aligned in neutral:

reinstall shifter and it worked.
