transmission cooler

what is the biggest transmission cooler i can fit infront of the radiator?
the tranny is seeing lots of abuse off road since i am keeping on the gas most of the time and rpms stay pretty high.
something cheap that will work until i swap transmissions or just put coolers behind the truck on the cage

You don't need anything huge. Also get a gauge to monitor the temp.

even once you move the rad. to the back i would keep the trans cooler up front, thats what I've seen on some desert trucks, there's no quicker way to kill an auto then over heat it.. minus exploding it that is.

can you mount one under the truck with a fan on it?

haha under the truck would equal disater.. ive blown through some thick brush and small trees before ha.

the coolers in the back are the transmission coolers and oil coolers.

i have a factory cooler up front already, but it is not enough. i am thinking of a b&m cooler for the time being and tossing a 8" fan on it.
how much are temp gauges?

all the little **** adds up way to damn fast

Check out Summit and and pick out the largest cooler that fits in the radiators front opening. The are under 50 usually. This is how I did mine.
