humming still present

well it wasn't the wheel bearing although it had all the symptoms. I pulled the old bearing/hub off and there was grease all over the place but there was absolutely no play.

its a speed consistent hum like a mud terrain makes but not nearly as loud. I think it could be the rear axle, prob blew the 7.5 already lol

Gonna try to get it up in the air tomorrow and have someone hit the gas and try to pin point the noise.

i had this issue once then i rotated my tires and the hum was fixed, then it did it again and i was in need of new tires. It might just be your tires are worn down to that point where they make that noise.

I would bet on tires or rear bearings for sure. Just because you rotated them doesn't mean that will fix it. Especially if it's all/more than one/or one is just constantly making the same noise regardless of where it's mounted.

nobody said rotating the tires would fix it, it would just move the noise. didn't have time to check the bearings or have the truck completely up in the air. If its a bearing im not replacing it, ill buy an 8.8 and rebuild the whole thing lol
