5 speed Trans. question

I'm just curious if my 5 speed trans. is ok? When driving it at low speeds like in town it makes a kinda growelling sound, more so when it's in to high of a gear for the speed Im going. I just was curious if this is comman in these trans. or do you think somethings going? I have 96,000 on it and have had the fluid changed in it at 80,000. not sure if it's just the simply/cheeply built trans that Ford makes. Let me know what you think.

All of the Mazda R1's and R2's have gear rattle at low RPM. It is worst with the 4-cylinders because the engine firing frequency is the lowest. Less noticeable with the 6's and even less with V8's. There's nothing you can do about it except spin the engine at a higher RPM.
