drilling a spindle for PVH's

I picked up an axle for my 4x4 conversion (edge). The spindles don't have vacumn holes for the PV hubs. Can I just drill them and install the proper bearings and hubs? Anybody done this before? I don't really want manual hubs.

just convert it to a live axle.

you have to use 01+ wheels bearings and cv shafts i think.

It can be done. I haven't done it personally, but I know there was a guy on ORR that did it to his RCD knuckles.
